Abyssal Horrors is a play-to-earn (P2E) card game on the Cardano blockchain where you build decks and compete.
About
Abyssal Horrors is a play to earn (P2E) card game on the Cardano blockchain that makes use of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and fungible tokens (FTs) to build decks and compete. Set in a cosmic horror universe, you take the role of a warlock who summons monstrous creatures to crush your enemies with.
Initially the Founders Set cards will grant access to the Founders role in Discord. Founders will be granted access to behind-the-scenes details before it becomes public. There will also be special airdrops of exclusive cards for Founders. Once the game gets off the ground, the cards will be used to build your deck. The full ruleset will be continually in development and will be adapted based on community feedback. Abyssal Horrors is designed for fans of games like Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Hearthstone.
Our aim is to bring the first and best digital card game to the Cardano network, but we want you to OWN your cards. They are yours to do with as you please, which is the beauty of the NFT space. The Founders policy will lock after about six months and there can be no changes made. Your cards will be yours, forever enshrined in the blockchain. As 2022 progresses, we’ll be hiring team members with the funds raised in order to bring the game to life.
Our goal is to deliver a rough alpha by the end of the year and a beta launch in mid to early 2023 where you will be able to use your cards to play against others. It will be the experience of a lifetime and a great way to expand the ever-growing Cardano ecosystem with some fun and creativity, not to mention some healthy competition between players.
