About
Everyday blockchain technology is changing lives and changing the world, yet the people most in need of the advantages brought by blockchain technology are the people most excluded from the blockchain revolution. Bora Finance’s goal is to bring financial inclusion, accessibility, and sustainability to those who require it most. The traditional banking system of today was not designed for people in developing countries, excluding billions from basic financial services.
Bora Finance’s mission is to connect the capital (money, liquidity) in cyberspace (on the blockchain) with innovative real-world uses in real estate markets, payment markets and finance markets. Bora Finance placed second in the Hack Cardano Hackathon hosted by CardStarter. Bora Finance vision was recognised and supported by industry experts Lars Brünjes (Plutus Pioneers), John MacPherson (Cardano Foundation), Aatash Amir (CardStarter), Ben Hart (MLabs), Ran Neuner (Banter Capital) and Nebojsa Vojvodic (IOHK). Bora Finance first product version consist of democratising real estate investments through a fractionalised NFT real estate marketplace that’s connected to the Bora Payment network. Thus enabling anybody to invest in real estate, and spend the returns (earnings) in real world shops and market places.
The tokenization of real world assets with NFTs, opens innovative models to disrupt traditional financing models for the real estate and finance sectors. In closing, our name is Bora Finance, Bora translates from Swahili to English as “Better”, thus we are “Better Finance”. Bora Finance = Better Finance.
We are on a mission to deliver better financial tools and better financial inclusion for those that need is most.
