MVPz is reinventing fantasy sports by integrating blockchain technology. Athletes are featured on NFT trading cards, these card are then traded by users to who look to build out their fantasy team. Users shall enter these teams into a fantasy sports competition, wherein points are rewarded depending on the real world performance of the featured athletes. The principles of gamification is what drives the user demand for cards. The transaction fees that are generated from the economic activity is then used to compensate the featured athletes.
MVPz mission is to enable student-athletes (USA) to monetize their name, image, and likeness. This has only been made possible by the National Collegiate Athletic Association's landmark decision in the summer of 2021 to permit student-athletes to profit from their college sports career. Despite this ruling, student-athletes still do not get paid for their athletic performance. Rather, they are tasked with finding their own opportunities.
Student-athletes are the drivers of wealth creation in a 18+ billion dollar market, yet most US College athletes live below the poverty line and only a tiny fraction ever play professionally. MVPz is providing the athletes a means of monetizing fan engagement, while providing sports fans a fun way to enhance their experience!
